Eastern Florida State Men’s Tennis Player Tomas Reche Named Region IV Sophomore of the Year

Titans finished a program-best fourth in the national tournament

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College men’s tennis player Tomas Reche was named the Region IV Sophomore of the Year by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

The sophomore from Pinamar, Argentina was one of the leaders on the men’s tennis team all season, playing No. 1 single for the nationally-ranked Titans.

Reche had a strong season for the Titans and went 1-1 in the NJCAA Division I National Championship Tournament in Plano, Texas. Reche teamed with Bernardo Vieira to win a national title at No. 3 doubles.

Reche and the Titans finished a program-best fourth in the national tournament.
