BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Brevard Adult and Community Education is pleased to announce the opening of a new manufacturing building at its Cocoa campus.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony, facilitated by the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce, will take place June 16 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at 1225 Clearlake Road in Cocoa, Florida.
The building is the home to new labs in which students from both Brevard Adult and Community Education and Eastern Florida State College will take Solidworks classes together in a shared partnership beginning in the fall semester of 2021.
According to Lorri Benjamin, Director of Brevard Adult and Community Education, vocational training programs forge a relationship with the community workforce by allowing students to attain credentialing for employment.
The addition of the manufacturing building is sure to positively impact both students and community members alike.
Brevard Adult and Community Education offer a wide variety of affordable education options including GED classes, English as a Second Language, vocational training, and lifelong learning classes.
