UPDATE: 12-Acre Brush Fire at Wickham Park Forces Shutdown and Evacuation, Fire Now 95-Percent Contained

Florida Forest Service and local county officials were forced to shutdown Wickham Park on Thursday due to a 12-acre brush fire that broke out.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Forest Service and local county officials were forced to shutdown Wickham Park on Thursday due to a 12-acre brush fire that broke out.

As of late Thursday night, officials said the fire was 95-percent contained.

No structures were damaged.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
