BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Cocoa Police Department’s Friday Night Foxtrot Squad officers arrested a repeat theft suspect who was targeting a local convenience store on a regular basis.

According to Cocoa police officials, after receiving complaints from the store clerk, officers were able to identify a suspect and learn his behavior patterns in order to quickly respond if the suspect made additional attempts to steal merchandise.

“Friday night, the suspect returned to the location and a Foxtrot squad officer was ready, capturing the suspect with the stolen goods in hand,” said Cocoa police via social media.

The suspect was arrested and is facing multiple theft charges.

The Cocoa Police Department Foxtrot squad officers include Officer Denham, Officer Benitez, Sgt. Bradshaw, Officer Johnson, Cpl. Taylor, and K9 Officer Delos Santos with K9 Kyra.

Assisting the Foxtrot squad are Officer Holland, Officer Myny, Detective Zuniga and Agent Erskine.
