Eastern Florida State’s Kaitlyn Sanders, Rapuluchi Ngorka to Play in WBCA All-Star Game in Atlanta

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College women’s basketball players Kaitlyn Sanders and transfer Rapuluchi Ngorka to participate in the NJCAA Women’s Basketball Coaches Association 13th annual All-Star Weekend this week in Atlanta Georgia.

The weekend event is being held at Clayton State University in Morrow, Georgia, and will feature 40 of the top junior college players from around the country being put on teams and playing on Friday and Saturday.

The Hall of Fame banquet will be held Thursday night as Vincennes University’s Harry Meeks will be inducted.

Sanders played in nine games for the Titans in her freshman season, averaging 10 points, 2.8 assists, and 2.8 rebounds.

“I am really grateful for the opportunity. I have been working hard, practicing a lot over the summer, and really excited for this opportunity,” Sanders said.

“I just want to go in with confidence, be confident with my shot, and have fun. It is exciting that I have been chosen and am excited to get to play against the best players in JUCO.”

Ngorka is joining the Titans from Independence College where she averaged 10.7 points and 11.8 rebounds in 27 games.

Games are scheduled to be live-streamed on NJCAA TV.
