Five members of the Eastern Florida State College women’s golf team were named to the Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholars list. (EFSC image)

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Five members of the Eastern Florida State College women’s golf team were named to the Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholars list.

Freshmen Gabrielle Fernandez, Valeria Fort, Kira Shellman, and Olivia Timpy along with sophomore Elise Boccabella had a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better.

The team finished last season with a tournament win and finished in the top three-four times.

Overall, 1,432 women’s collegiate golfers from NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA were recognized with this prestigious honor.
