BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Historic Cocoa Village Main Street was the recipient of an Honor Award presented by Florida Secretary of State Laurel Lee.

The award was presented at the 36th Florida Main Street Preservation on Main Street Conference in New Port Richey on July 23.

The award recognized the Historic Cocoa Village Online Marketplace as an outstanding economic vitality program or project.

The mission of Historic Cocoa Village Main Street is to continue the development of a vital, inviting commercial district in the Village; and dedicated to historic preservation, promoting the shops, restaurants and businesses in the Village and offering a vibrant civic gathering place for all to enjoy.

Lee has served as the Secretary of State of Florida since January 2019. Prior to her appointment by Governor Ron DeSantis, Lee was a judge on Florida’s Thirteenth Judicial Circuit
