BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is seeking suspect Tasha Nicole Mendolia in the latest edition of “Fishing for Fugitives,” as Sheriff Wayne Ivey comes to you from Lee Wenner Park in Cocoa, Florida.

In this episode, Sheriff Ivey is seeking Tasha Nicole Mendolia who is wanted for:

■ Violation of Probation Reference to Possession of Methamphetamine,

■ Violation of Probation Reference to Possession of Heroin, Possession of Methamphetamine

Sheriff Ivey says Mendolia is known to be in the “waters of the Merritt Island area” and was last “hooked” on February 21, 2021.

Mendolia has no bond.

“If you’re the ‘Catch of the Day,’ you know what to do, turn yourself in and do the right thing – don’t make our Fugitive Unit come to get you. Because if you don’t turn yourself in, I promise you, they aren’t far from your house,” said Sheriff Ivey.

“Let’s make the Space Coast a safer place to live by assisting the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office in the apprehension of wanted fugitives, or in this case, the chance to “Hook ’em and Book ’em.”
