Garry Carl Coleman, 81, died Friday, July 2, 2021, at his home in Titusville, Florida. Garry was born on March 17, 1940, in Fremont, Ohio to Florence L. (Joseph) and Carl G. Coleman. Garry worked in sales most of his life.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Garry Carl Coleman, 81, died Friday, July 2, 2021, at his home in Titusville, Florida. Garry was born on March 17, 1940, in Fremont, Ohio to Florence L. (Joseph) and Carl G. Coleman. Garry worked in sales most of his life.

He owned Pizza Rama in Fremont and Green Springs for many years after which he was an Agent for Allstate Insurance. Garry moved to Titusville in 1996 and continued as an Agent and then a District Manager for Allstate before retiring.

After his retirement from Allstate, Garry worked for the Titusville Police Department as a Crossing Guard until 2020. While in Ohio, he was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Moose Club, and the Lions Club. While in Florida, he was an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Titusville.

Garry was a very talented Saxophone player for many years, in numerous bands, including Robbie and the Ramblers, The Vandalier’s, Mixed Company, and the most recent band, Night Watch. He was also a member of the Fremont Ross High school music hall of fame.

Garry was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years Sharon Lee (Parsons) Coleman. He is survived by his daughter Stacy Coleman of Titusville, his son Gregg Coleman and his wife Amy of Union, Ohio, his grandchildren Jacob of Parkersburg, West Virginia, Gabrielle of Union, Ohio, and Griffin of Union, Ohio.

A Memorial service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Titusville on July 31, 2021, at 11 a.m.

A Memorial service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Fremont on August 7, 2021, at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Francis Reflections Hospice.
