Larry had an exciting career as an engineer with NASA from 1963-1991

Lawrence John (Larry) Junker, 89, of Merritt Island, Florida died July 3, 2021, in Lafayette, Indiana. He was born on March 30, 1932, in Cleveland, Ohio to John and Mary (Halek) Junker.

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Lawrence John (Larry) Junker, 89, of Merritt Island, Florida died July 3, 2021, in Lafayette, Indiana. He was born on March 30, 1932, in Cleveland, Ohio to John and Mary (Halek) Junker.

He was a Purdue University graduate and a US Army veteran. Larry had an exciting career as an engineer with NASA from 1963-1991.

He was a loyal and faithful man and a devoted Christian. He will be deeply missed.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Ann (Williams) Junker; his two daughters, Laura Williamson and Leigh (Randy) Halcom; and five grandchildren, Iris, John, Laura Kay, Lisa, and Sam.

A memorial service will be held on August 7 at 2 p.m. at Georgianna Church in Merritt Island, FL. Donations may be made in Larry’s name to Air Mobile Ministries.
