One Person Hospitalized After Residential Fire in Cocoa near Dogwood Dr.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA –  Brevard County Fire Rescue crews have responded to a fire at a residence in Cocoa Tuesday night on the 7000 block of Dogwood Dr.

Fire crews responded to the scene where they located a person who suffered burn injuries.

The person was taken to the hospital via helicopter.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze a short time later.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
