1. Not fixing problems in the house

Check the home for any issue and fix it right away. Some common examples are broken doorknobs and leaky faucets. If potential buyers see these problems, they could think about the other more significant issues that the property may have beyond what they can see.

As a result, it could hugely hurt your chances of selling your home. Fixing the problems may require remodelling or upgrading too. You might save on not having to pay that fee, but you may not be able to sell your home right away, or if you do, it may not be at the best price. On the other hand, an experienced, professional, and reliable agent has the knowledge, skills, and resources to get your property out there and sell it at the right price. It will also be less stressful because you don’t have to do everything yourself. 

4. Listing the property at an unrealistic price

Surely, you want to sell your home at the highest price possible. However, you will end up not selling it if you list it at a price much higher than its market value. Compare prices of similar properties around the area to better understand the average market price of your home. Expect buyers to negotiate the price too, so have some room for that as well.
