BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – On Friday I got to enjoy watching members of our Brevard County Sheriff’s Office SWAT, Melbourne SWAT, and Cocoa SWAT teams as they executed a search warrant at 1431 Peachtree Street, in Cocoa that resulted in 14 arrests for various charges, including possession of methamphetamine, possession of morphine, failure to appear and even sex offender failure to register crimes.
The search warrant and arrests were the culmination of a long-term investigation by our Special Investigations Unit in reference to drug trafficking activities primarily being conducted by Raymond Carter who maintains the property at 1431 Peachtree Street.

The property is essentially a compound for drug sales and other types of criminal activity that is equipped with video surveillance and at times even armed security teams designed to keep Law Enforcement and others off the property.
As you can tell from the execution of the search warrant and subsequent arrests, the security system at their little “drug compound” failed miserably as our various SWAT Teams hit the place during the early morning hours with the assistance of Agents from Special Investigations, Fugitive Agents, General Crimes Agents, K-9 Units, Traffic Units, and Patrol Deputies.
Located and seized during the execution of the search warrant were various amounts of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine.
Apparently, those inside the compound never got the memo…that if you’re going to break the law, don’t do it in Brevard County, and if you just can’t help yourself, then don’t whine and cry when we lock your butt up.
This is Brevard County where our citizens and law enforcement have ZERO tolerance for crime.
Please join me in thanking all of the Law Enforcement Officers and agencies who were involved in today’s search warrant and arrests as these men and women are out here each and every day putting their lives on the line to keep us and our community safe.
