He is also proud to serve as Co-Chair of the Florida Space Caucus and the Florida Manufacturing Caucus and is an appointed member of the Florida Defense Support Task Force.
As Senator, his priorities have included supporting Florida’s veteran population, improving the State’s water quality, and striving to protect Floridians through consumer protection and prescription drug transparency initiatives.
Throughout his personal life, Senator Wright has dedicated his time and effort to assist with affordable housing for the homeless and to eliminate the domestic abuse of women, children, and animals.
Speaking to a group of mostly retired military officers, he spoke of his family’s military history. He is currently helping veterans with PTSD get alternative treatment, which generated a study that will be presented to the VA.
