Brevard County Fire Rescue officials said the lift malfunctioned and wouldn’t lower

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue, with the assistance of the Cocoa Beach Fire Department, responded to reports of two people stuck in an articulating boom lift bucket behind condominiums in the area of 28th Street/South Atlantic Avenue in South Cocoa Beach.

Brevard County Fire Rescue officials said the lift malfunctioned and wouldn’t lower so crews had to use a ladder to retrieve the workers who were in no distress.

No injuries have been reported.
