BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Bridges BTC has provided services and support to adults with disabilities for more than 60 years in Brevard County and Central Florida.

A critical charitable organization for the Space Coast, Bridges BTC serves more than 350 individuals every day, many of whom have been with Bridges for more than 20 years.

TEACHING LIFE SKILLS

Three group homes provide safe, decent housing for persons whose physical or mental challenges would make living independently not a viable option.

Bridges also have the back of those clients who wish to live independently, for the organization also offers budgeting and other life skills training so these individuals do not run into trouble.

An additional facility, Patriot House, helps homeless vet to take back their lives and transition back into the community.

Bridges help clients become self-sufficient by coaching them through all the steps of the job search and connecting them with employers or providing them with in-house employment opportunities such as the agency’s state-of-the-art Material Recycling Facility, which has served Patrick Space Force base for more than 15 years.

To enable Bridges to continue its critical work, the Bridges Foundation explores all possible sources of revenue – from individual donations and investments to fundraising events– to inspire others to join in the agency’s mission of “building bridges to better lives.”

Bridges BTC dedicated staff, Board Members, families, and community partners all play a vital role in ensuring the organization provides quality programs in a nurturing, positive, and rewarding setting.

Over the years Bridges has established many durable partnerships with the business, philanthropic, and non-profit communities that have resulted in a range of new and enriching opportunities for its clients.
