BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Code Compliance is updating its inspection database to help speed up approvals for food trucks participating in special events.

The database will include contact information about each business along with up-to-date inspection reports.

The City will be sharing this database with other municipalities in the county to help make the approval process more efficient for food truck operators participating in events outside of our jurisdiction, as well.

The City of Melbourne is encouraging any food truck owners who serve the area to send their contact information even if they have provided it in the past.

If you are interested in participating, please email your phone number, contact name, email address, DBPR license, and Suppression System Inspection reports to fire.prevention@mlbfl.org.

PLEASE NOTE: This database is for code compliance inspection services only. A separate Business Tax Receipt will be required for food trucks operating within the City of Melbourne.

The city is also currently amending the regulations for the location of food trucks when not associated with a special event.
