BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Former Cocoa Tiger and current Penn State running back Caziah Holmes was named the Nittany Lions Student-Athlete of the Week.

Holmes continues to be the perfect depiction of a student-athlete. He graduated from Cocoa High School in 2020 with a 4.02 GPA and is now excelling at Penn State.

In his career thus far at Penn State, the Brevard native has tallied 230 rushing yards on 52 attempts and 2 touchdowns.

The Nittany Lions have a logjam in the running back room due to the fact that they’ve produced top-tier running backs such as Saquon Barkley and Miles Sanders.

You can expect Holmes to get more touches as the season progresses and as he continues to develop into an every-down back.

As a part of the Class of 2020, Holmes was rated a consensus four-star prospect by 247Sports, ESPN, and Rivals.
