COLLEGE FOOTBALL: Florida State Seminoles to Host Louisville Cardinals in ACC Division Battle

KICKOFF SET FOR 3:30 P.M.

Brevard County Native Jashuan Corbin (left) and Jalen Mitchell (right) battle it out in this afternoon’s ACC divisional matchup between FSU and Louisville at 3:30 p.m.

(24/7 SPORTS) – It’s Game Day at Doak Campbell Stadium.

The University of Louisville football team is on the road and will play Florida State today at 3:30 p.m. The game will be shown on ESPN2 and is on Bobby Bowden Field.

The Cardinals are lost their season-opener against Ole Miss, who is currently ranked No. 13 in the nation, on Labor Day Night at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga. U of L then returned home to defeat Eastern Kentucky and edged UCF last Friday night 42-35.

Florida State is 0-3 for the first time since 1976, which was the late Bobby Bowden’s first season with the Seminoles.

FSU suffered home losses to Notre Dame, who is currently ranked No. 12 in the nation, and FCS-level Jacksonville State. They also lost at Wake Forest last weekend 35-14 in their first road game of the season.

Today’s matchup will have two Brevard County natives in FSU running back Jashaun Corbin and Louisville running back Jalen Mitchell
