The Seminoles are 0-2 and coming off one of the worst losses in program history, suffering their first-ever loss to a FCS opponent. FSU hasn’t begun a season 0-3 since 1976, the first season the Seminoles were guided by legendary head coach Bobby Bowden.
TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA – Response is a word commonly preached by football coaches, and the concept is certainly preached by Florida State head coach Mike Norvell.
Since his hire, and again throughout this preseason and through the last two weeks of action, he has commonly spoken about how is a team or individual going to handle moments when the going gets tough, or something bad happens to you or the team – How are you going to respond to that moment?
That concept will be fully tested this week when the Seminoles make their way to Winston-Salem, N.C. to face Wake Forest at Truist Field.
