BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is seeking suspect Eunique Elizabeth Mays in the latest edition of “Fishing for Fugitives,” as Sheriff Wayne Ivey comes to you from P.OW./M.I.A Park in Melbourne.

In this episode, Sheriff Ivey says Battle is wanted for:

■  Bench warrant failure to appear for jury trial REF battery of a law enforcement officer or firefighter.

■ Resisting arrest with violence.

■ Improper exhibition of dangerous weapons or firearms.

■ Criminal mischief

Sheriff Ivey says Mays is known to be in the “waters of the Melbourne area” and was last “hooked” on August 15, 2020.

Mays has no bond.

“If you’re the ‘Catch of the Day,’ you know what to do, turn yourself in and do the right thing – don’t make our Fugitive Unit come to get you. Because if you don’t turn yourself in, I promise you, they aren’t far from your house,” said Sheriff Ivey.

“Let’s make the Space Coast a safer place to live by assisting the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office in the apprehension of wanted fugitives, or in this case, the chance to “Hook ’em and Book ’em.”
