Hurricane Larry Forecasted to Become a Major Hurricane in Atlantic Ocean

No threat to Florida

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – National Hurricane Center is tracking Hurricane Larry in the Atlantic that is forecasted to become a major hurricane by Saturday morning.

Larry is moving to the west at 17 mph and carrying 80 mph max sustained winds.

A gradual turn towards the west-northwest with a decrease in forward speed are expected over the next few days.

At this time, Larry poses no threat to Florida.
