BREVARD COUNTY • SATELLITE BEACH, FLORIDA – The Satellite Beach Police Department welcomed Officer Brian Severns to their team during a recent swearing-in ceremony which included family, friends and co-workers.

Officer Severns is an Air Force veteran who served for four years in Security Forces.

The Satellite Beach Police Department is comprised of 25 sworn law enforcement officers, 14 full or permanent part-time civilian support personnel including dispatchers, and 11 school crossing guards.

“Our agency is committed to providing professional services to those who live in and visit Satellite Beach,” said Chief Jeff Pearson.

“Through careful employee selection, constant training, and progressive community programs, our department offers the citizens of Satellite Beach the highest level of community policing and customer service available.”

The Satellite Beach Police Department Volunteer Program features volunteer programs which enhance the City, including C.O.P. (Citizens on Patrol), the all Volunteer Marine Patrol, ATV Beach Patrol, Bike Patrol, Fingerprinting, Housechecks, Administration and Stop By & Say Hi.
