Titusville Fire Chief Mike Woodward Accepts Job at Oviedo Fire Rescue

Served Titusville community for over 26 years

Woodward has accepted the position of Fire Chief with the City of Oviedo Fire Rescue Department.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Friday marked the end of a career for Titusville Fire Chief Mike Woodward.

After serving the community faithfully for over 26 years, the last 9 years as Fire Chief, Chief Woodward is moving on.

Woodward has accepted the position of Fire Chief with the City of Oviedo Fire Rescue Department.

“We are thankful for the leadership and accomplishments we have made as a department under his watch,” said Titusville Fire Department in a released statement.

“New apparatus purchases, bailout kits, rope rescue, new staff vehicles, training facility, ISO Class 2 rating, and much more. We are excited about the future and what it holds but for now congrats Chief on your retirement and good luck in your new position with the City of Oviedo! They are in great hands!”
