BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Carib Brewery Marketing Director Asa Sealy sat down with Space Coast Daily to highlight some upcoming events coming to the Carib Brewery and Taproom located at 200 Imperial Blvd. in Cape Canaveral.

321 Lime House Week • Sept 26-October 2
– Tropical Sundays with Caribbean theme
– Run Club Mondays
– Living Local Tuesdays
– Game Night Wednesdays
– Live Music Performances on Fridays, Saturdays

321 Lime Week will feature the newly renovated Carib Brewery and Taproom, soon to be named 321 Lime House.

The renovation project, deemed Phase 2, will provide for an expansive outdoor beer garden, outfitted with the brewery’s own truck and will feature a curated menu that pairs the food with the beers. On special nights, local restaurants will be invited to pop up with their special menus.

Recently, Phase 1 transformed the taproom with new furniture, floors, and ceilings. State-of-the-art acoustic tiles were installed to enhance the sound of the live music that is part of the taproom experience. The already bright space has been made even brighter.

Another event Carib Brewery is excited for is a partnership with Keep Brevard Beautiful for a day of beach cleanup October 16 at 10 a.m. at Alan Shepard Park in Cocoa Beach. Following the cleanup, volunteers are invited back to the brewery for free pizza and drinks.

Florida Beer Company’s brews created in Cape Canaveral on Florida’s Space Coast, such as Key West and the extremely popular Hurricane Reef share a common bond with the butterbeer served at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter attraction at Universal Studios.

The connection is Carib Brewery, the beverage sector for ANSA McAl, the large family owned company which purchased Florida Beer in 2016. Carib Brewery produces the “beer of the Caribbean,” the much-loved Carib Beer, and also provides entertainment giants such as Universal with themed beverages such as Harry Potter’s famous drink.

The brewery employs more than 1,000 people at its plants in Trinidad, Tobago and St. Kitts and Nevis. The beer, which has earned 97 percent of the robust beer market sales in the Caribbean, is distributed to 30 countries around the world and aboard cruise ships.

The 50,000 square-foot Carib Brewery and Taproom (formerly Florida Beer) in Cape Canaveral is a high-tech facility that has a large potential output to serve all of North America and beyond.

“We are so proud that we can call the Space Coast our home and we are very thankful that the community here has allowed us to join in this exciting growth of the economy in Brevard county.,”said James Webb, CEO. ‘We hope that our brewery and taproom will be something that locals from the Space Coast can be proud of.”

Surprisingly, Carib encompasses more than the refreshing Carib Lager and Carib Light and the robust, European lager-style of Stag.  In fact, Carib also produces Mackeson, the oldest English milk stout. The Carib portfolio additionally includes the non-alcoholic malted beverage known as Malta Carib, the healthy non-alcoholic Ginseng Up, a drink made from the Korean ginseng root, as well as Shandy Carib, which a miniscule alcoholic content of no more than 1.2 percent and is considered non-alcoholic in the Caribbean. In the Caribbean, Carib Brewery represents European brands such as Heineken and Guinness.

In Brevard County, Carib Lager is available at ABC Liquor, Total Wine, and, of course, at the Florida Beer Company taproom in Cape Canaveral. Arrangements with Publix are being finalized, so Carib Beer will soon be available at the neighborhood supermarket as well.
