LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY – Former Rockledge Raider and current Louisville running back Jalen Mitchell scored on a two-yard touchdown to help the Cardinals defeat the Knights on Friday night.
Louisville defeated the Knights 42-35 at Cardinal Stadium as Louisville intercepted a Knights pass and returned it 66 yards for the winning score with 13 seconds left.
Mitchell, who graduated from Rockledge High School in 2019, finished the game with 16 carries for 74 yards, along with the touchdown.
Next week, the Knights will take on Navy at Navy–Marine Corps Memorial Stadium of the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.
The Cardinals travel to Doak Campbell Stadium next week to play the Florida State Seminoles.
