The Viera Hawks will host the Vero Beach Indians in prep football action Friday night on Space Coast Daily TV, with Juan Rodriguez and JC Meyerholtz on the call.

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – The Viera Hawks will host the Vero Beach Indians in prep football action Friday night on Space Coast Daily TV, with Juan Rodriguez and Matt O’Hern on the call.

The kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

Both teams enter this matchup at 1-1. Last week. Viera defeated Baker County High School on the road, 31-22. Vero Beach will look to get their second win of the season after a strong outing against Bartow, where the Indians won 55-28.

The Hawks’senior quarterback C.J. Simms led the charge offensively for Viera in last week’s victory, throwing for more than 400 yards and connecting for three touchdowns.

Vero Beach quarterback Maurice Smith has thrown for 7 touchdowns in two games, with just one interception.
