One Person Hospitalized After Truck Overturns in Melbourne, Hazmat Crew Reports for Fluid Spill

Brevard County Fire Rescue has responded to the scene of an overturned truck near mile marker 188 in Melbourne that resulted in a fluid spill and injured driver late Tuesday morning.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue has responded to the scene of an overturned truck near mile marker 188 in Melbourne that resulted in a fluid spill and injured driver late Tuesday morning.

Authorities reported to the scene around 11:08 a.m. for a reported traffic collision.

When rescue crews arrived on scene they discovered the overturn truck caused a fluid spill, which required a call for a Hazmat crew to report to the scene to help in the cleanup.

The driver was injured and taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
