Palm Bay Municipal Foundation Approves $1,000 Donation to National Haitian American Elected Officials Network

$1,000 donation will be made as a disbursement from the Palm Bay Disaster Relief Committee

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – On Thursday, September 2, 2021, the Palm Bay Municipal Foundation voted to approve a $1,000 donation to the National Haitian American Elected Officials Network’s (NHAEON) ongoing efforts to support those impacted by the 7.2 magnitude earthquake that struck Haiti on August 14, 2021.
The $1,000 donation will be made as a disbursement from the Palm Bay Disaster Relief Committee.
From October 20 through November 20, all donations made to the Palm Bay Disaster Relief Committee will benefit NHAEON’s earthquake relief efforts.
The Palm Bay Municipal Foundation Board also voted to approve matching funds for all public contributions totaling $250 or more made through November 20, up to $1,000 in total value.
Donations may be made via the City’s Revenue Division, located inside Palm Bay City Hall, by cash or check made out to the Palm Bay Municipal Foundation. Online donations may be made at the Disaster Relief Committee webpage.
In addition to monetary donations, Palm Bay City Council also approved City of Palm Bay fire stations to serve as drop-off points for earthquake relief supply donations. Supplies will be accepted at all Palm Bay fire stations through November 20.

■ Dry goods
■ Flashlights
■ Batteries
■ Sleeping bags
■ Blankets and sheets
■ Tarps
■ Tents
