Pedestrian Killed by Vehicle Near North Washington Avenue in Titusville

Titusville Police responded to a fatal crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle Wednesday night near the 600 block of North Washington Avenue.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police responded to a fatal crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle Wednesday night near the 600 block of North Washington Avenue.

The preliminary investigation revealed the man was struck by a 2015 Ram Truck when he stepped into the roadway around 7:20 p.m.

Police say the truck was traveling northbound on North Washington Avenue and was driven by a 69-year-old man from Mims.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

There were no other injuries.

The identity of the pedestrian will be released when the next of kin has been properly notified.
