BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Space Coast Symphony Orchestra is making final preparations for their upcoming show featuring ‘The Beatles’ great musical hits at Satellite High School on November 6.

The concert will begin at 7 p.m.

With classics such as “Hey Jude,” “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “Penny Lane,” “Yesterday” and “Come Together,” are all legendary songs from the undisputed leaders of the British invasion, The Beatles, the mega group that steamrolled onto the American music scene in the 1960s.

Now imagine these tunes infused with a soulful twist from the iconic Count Basie, the American jazz composer renowned for big band, swing and bebop.  The Space Coast Symphony Jazz Orchestra, under the direction of Frank Wosar will present an electrifying program like no other, featuring the music of The Beatles filtered through the imagination of the immortal Count Basie.

Families will love the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra’s Land of the Gnomes, a fun and exciting concert for the whole family. The program will feature another enjoyable, original story by national best-selling author, Michele Wallace Campanelli. Land of Gnomes tells the story of Mr. Maelzel and the discovery of a spectacular rhythm machine called the Metronome, a mechanical device that ticks steadily to help musicians around the world keep to the beat of the music. The concert will feature music from Aladdin, How to Train Your Dragon, Ratatouille, Rise of the Guardians, and more. Artistic Director and Conductor, Aaron Collins will present a conducting lesson to the viewers featuring music from Tchaikovsky, Grieg, Anderson, Offenbach, Rossini, and more. The online production will be produced by Great Scott Productions with artwork by Angela Moretti and narration from Eric Pinder.
