Titusville Police Conduct Child Death Investigation After Responding to Call on South DeLeon Avenue

Police: no signs of foul play at this time

Titusville police detectives are conducting a death investigation of a child on Sunday. According to the Titusville police, officers responded to a report of an unresponsive child at a residence on the 1300 block of South DeLeon Avenue at approximately 11:30 a.m.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville police detectives are conducting a death investigation of a child on Sunday.

According to the Titusville police, officers responded to a report of an unresponsive child at a residence on the 1300 block of South DeLeon Avenue on Sunday, October 24, at approximately 11:30 a.m.

“The child was transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead at 11:53 a.m.,” said TPD spokesperson Amy Matthews.

Matthews said the preliminary investigation revealed no signs of foul play at this time.
