(24/7 SPORTS) – Former Rockledge Raiders and current Arkansas running back true freshman Raheim Sanders is emerging as a force in the backfield for Razorbacks.

The most feared aspect of the No. 17 Arkansas Razorbacks is almost certainly a powerful rushing attack that ranks ninth nationally in yards per game at 244.8.

The Hogs get it done with an array of different threats who are capable of doing damage. Last week at Ole Miss, it was time to shine for freshman running back Raheim “Rocket” Sanders.

Arkansas ran for a season-high 350 yards against the Rebels in Oxford. Sanders had a career day with 17 carries for a team-high 139 yards and also pitched in three catches out of the backfield for an additional 26.

Although he did lose a costly fumble in the second quarter, the 6-2, 225-pound back was clearly running with a purpose and earned the lion’s share of carries out of the backfield.
