BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The Rockledge Raiders defeated the Palm Bay Pirates 41-19 in prep football action Friday night in week 6 of the season.

Space Coast Sports Hall of Famers Steve Wilson and Orville Susong of the Friday Night Locker Room called  the live action from the broadcast booth.

The Raiders are coming off an impressive 7-0 shutout victory over Deerfield Beach, with sophomore linebacker DJ Mccormick leading the team with 14 solo tackles.

Entering Friday night, the Raiders outscored their last three opponents by a whopping 73-7.

Palm Bay enters the matchup fresh off a bye week, with the Pirates losing to Merritt Island 44-12 the previous week.
