BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Since 1977, St. Francis Reflections Lifestage Care has served as Brevard’s only independent, not-for-profit comfort care resource, helping patients and those they love during the most delicate times in their lives.

Founded on the principle of neighbors helping neighbors, St. Francis Reflections Lifestage Care offers a diverse range of compassionate care services including palliative care, pediatric palliative care, hospice and grief support for all ages.

Clergy Appreciation Month

St. Francis Reflections Chaplains works to meet the spiritual needs of our patients and their families, helping them find comfort, peace healing and connection while honoring the diverse beliefs, religions, practices and traditions that each of our patients values.

We work with pastors and clergy in our community to provide spiritual support to patients.

In recognition of Clergy Appreciation Month, we want to show our gratitude for each and every faith leader in Brevard.

St. Francis Reflections has a total of eight chaplains: Rev. Ann Taylor Owen, Rev. Nathan Colon, Rev. Rachel Steakley, Rev. Gerald Norrington, Rev. Gay Mann, and Rev. Jonelle Capitano. Our Chaplains are available to provide education about end-of-life spiritual care and are dedicated to helping uplift lives in your faith community.

Chaplain care is also for family and fellow caregivers. Family and fellow caregivers can experience a wide range of emotions and our Chaplains are trained to help guide through the spiritual and emotional challenges.

Reflections of Love – Memorial Celebration

The past year and a half has been challenging for our staff, families, patients and the community. To recognize and honor the losses our families face, St. Francis Reflections provides an annual community memorial and tree lighting service.

Formerly known as Lights of Love, Reflections of Love is our new name reflecting on our legacy of care and compassion.  Our memorial celebrations take place the first week of November this year, honoring those that we have loved and lost in a unique, uplifting and beautiful way.

This year’s annual Reflections of Love ceremonies will cap with the lighting of five oak trees adorned with hundreds of twinkling lights, dedicated to those we love.

This year we are excited to announce that we have expanded from 3 locations to partnering with 5 cities.

The ceremonies and tree lightings will take place at the Pritchard House in Downtown Titusville, at the South roundabout on Rosa Jones Dr. in Cocoa Village, at the Rockledge Civic Hub, at the West Melbourne Community Park and at Palm Bay City Hall. The trees will remain lit throughout the holiday season, ending on January 31.

To RSVP or donate in memory of your loved one please visit www.ReflectionsLSC.org/ReflectionsOfLove

A donation in memory of your loved one will bring tribute to their life through a light on the tree and help support those who are grieving in our community through our free grief support programs. Whether the holidays bring you joy, or sorrow over the loss of a loved one, you will find that you are not alone in your wish to honor and remember.

Our bereavement team provides support to all of Brevard County, offering individual grief consultations, support groups, seminars and grief education (for free) to anyone in need.  Contact – 321-269-4240 or email the team directly at GriefSupport@ReflectionsLSC.org.
