BCSO Corrections Deputy Arrested in Orange County for Robbery with a Firearm

Robillard being held at Orange County Jail Complex on No Bond status

Brevard County Sheriff’s Corrections Deputy Amony Robillard was arrested early this morning by the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office after detectives with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office obtained an arrest warrant for the charges of Robbery with a Firearm, False Imprisonment and Extortion.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Sheriff’s Corrections Deputy Amony Robillard was arrested early this morning by the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office after detectives with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office obtained an arrest warrant for the charges of Robbery with a Firearm, False Imprisonment and Extortion.

The arrest took place following an investigation by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office regarding an incident that occurred in their county on November 19, 2021, involving Robillard.

Robillard is being held at the Orange County Jail Complex on a No Bond status.

“I am disgusted by the alleged actions of this individual that have resulted in his arrest, and as such, I have directed my staff to facilitate his termination from our agency,” said Sheriff Wayne Ivey.

“As everyone knows, I am extremely proud of the amazing men and women of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office who work hard every day to bring honor to our badge. An incident of this nature is absolutely unacceptable to me and I can assure you that our team will be doing everything possible to assist and support the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in their investigation, so that justice can be served.”

Corrections Deputy Robillard, who resides in Osceola County, began his employment with the Sheriff’s Office in March 2020, and is currently assigned to the Jail Complex.
