Christie Bynum and Bobby Strange Sworn in as Cocoa Beach Police Department’s Newest Officers

Cocoa Beach Police Department has 90 members, including 39 sworn officers

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – New Cocoa Beach Police Officers, Christie Bynum and Bobby Strange were sworn in by Chief Rosenfeld and will now go through two weeks of orientation and several months of field training.
The Cocoa Beach Police Department has more than 90 members consisting of 39 sworn officers, telecommunicators, beach rangers, parking enforcement specialists, and civilian personnel.
They serve approximately 11,000 full-time residents and over two million visitors annually.
