City of Palm Bay to Host Final Public Workshop on City’s Comprehensive Plan Nov. 8

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The City of Palm Bay continues to seek community engagement for the third and final public workshop on the City’s Comprehensive Plan.
Public Workshop #3, entitled “How Do We Get There?”, will complete the public input portion of the visioning process, a series of public meetings with residents and community stakeholders.
The comprehensive plan, known as Palm Bay 2040 Vision, is a long-range plan that helps guide the City’s future actions through clearly stated goals, objectives, and policies.
These policies inform local decision-making and set the tone for future growth and development to ensure a high quality of life and a resilient community for future generations.
The third and final public workshop will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021, at 6:00 pm in the Council Chambers at Palm Bay City Hall, located at 120 Malabar Road SE.
The meeting will be conducted in person, with an option for virtual participation. For those unable to attend the workshop in person, participates will have the opportunity to interact virtually.

This workshop will serve as the culmination of the public input process and will inform the City’s Vision Plan, the first phase of the comprehensive plan update.
During the final public workshop, participants will have an opportunity to provide feedback on the priorities of the Vision Plan, which is intended to guide policies, zoning, and future land use, locations for employment, a downtown center, connectivity, and more.
