Cocoa Beach Police asks all citizens to do their part to prevent the crime of opportunity

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – Cocoa Beach’s neighboring cities have reported some vehicle burglaries. The Cocoa Beach Police Department asks all citizens to do their part to prevent the crime of opportunity.

Please remember to always lock vehicle doors, close windows, remove valuables/keys, and hide items from plain view.

The Cocoa Beach Police team of more than 90 members consists of 39 sworn officers, telecommunicators, beach rangers, parking enforcement specialists, and civilian personnel. They serve approximately 11,000 full-time residents and over two million visitors annually.
