BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College will host the Florida JUCO Shootout on Friday and Saturday at Titan Field House on the Melbourne campus.

The field is stacked as three teams are ranked in the NJCAA Division I poll with another one receiving votes and six of the eight teams are ranked in the latest NJCAA Region 8 poll.

The action tips off Friday at 12 p.m. as Miami Dade College faces unbeaten Santa Fe who is receiving votes in the latest NJCAA Division I poll. Then at 2:30 p.m., No. 22 Florida Southwestern will take the court against Tallahassee who is 1-1 and ninth in the state poll.

The State College of Florida-Manatee who is 2-1 and eighth in the state poll will play the Florida State College at Jacksonville at 5 p.m.

Then the home team Titans will take the court against No. 4 Chipola in a battle of top-11 teams in the nation at 7:30 p.m.

On Saturday Tallahassee will play Miami Dade at noon with FSC-Jacksonville playing Florida Southwestern at 2:30 p.m. At 5 p.m., Santa Fe will play Chipola College with the Titans playing State College of Florida-Manatee at 7:30 p.m.

Games at Titan Field House are free to the public and all of the tournament games will be shown live online on the EFSC Titans YouTube page.
