Posey: we reflect on the service and great personal sacrifices made by our brave men and women

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Congressman Bill Posey (R-Rockledge) released the following statement observing Veterans Day.

“On Veterans Day, we reflect on the service and great personal sacrifices made by our brave men and women in uniform to protect and defend our great nation and our freedoms.

“Throughout the course of America’s history, adversaries and foreign powers have sought to snuff out the torch of liberty. Yet, because of the courage and dedication of our servicemembers, and their families, America has stood strong. We owe them all a great debt of gratitude today, and every day.

“This Veterans Day, while we seem to be facing challenging times as a nation, let us look to these brave men and women in uniform, —both past and present—and draw strength and inspiration from the example they set by their service, putting God, country, and others first.”
