Eastern Florida State Women’s Soccer No. 3 Seed at National Tournament in Daytona Beach

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s soccer team will be the No. 3 seed at the NJCAA Division I National Championship Tournament at Daytona State College in Daytona Beach.
The Titans, who are 7-1-3 on the season, will be in Group C with No. 6 seed Hill College and No. 10 seed Rose State. Eastern Florida State College will play Rose State College on Monday at 2:30 p.m. and then face Rose State Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.
The winner of pool play will advance to the semifinals of the national tournament on Friday.
Hill College is 9-2-3 on the season and received an at-large bid to the national tournament. The Rebels lost to No. 1 seed Tyler Junior College in the South District Championship. Hill is No. 8 in the latest NJCAA Division I poll.
Rose State is 14-4-3 this season and also received an at-large bid to the tournament. The Raider lost to No. 2 seed Seminole State (OK) in penalty kicks in the West Plains District Championship and is ranked No. 16 in the NJCAA Division I poll.
Eastern Florida State College is making its 11th straight appearance in the national tournament and have reached the national tournament semifinals in each of the past four seasons.
The tournament will begin Monday, Nov. 15 at Daytona State College with the championship game scheduled for Nov. 20. A tournament pass is $60 and covers every game all week, a daily ticket costs $20.
