Florida Tech’s Guillermo Segovia Named to Division II Conference Commissioners All-South Region 2nd Team

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Tech senior Guillermo Segovia was a second-team selection Tuesday when the Division II Conference Commissioners Association announced the Men’s Soccer All-South Region Teams.
The 6-3 forward from Madrid, Spain tied for first in the Sunshine State Conference with 10 goals and second with 20 points on the season.
Segovia, the leading scorer for Coach Robin Chan’s Panthers, netted two game-winners including the golden goal just 21 seconds into OT in the 3-2 win against South Region rival Flagler on Sept. 11.
Earlier this season, Segovia was bestowed with All-SSC honors claiming the second team and named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team. He has now picked up his second straight All-Region honor.
