BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – The Rockledge Fire Department welcomed Firefighter Brandon Pallas, who began his employment with the department on November 1.

He was born in St. Lucie County, Florida, and graduated from John Carroll High School.

He went on to graduate from Indian River State College with his A.S. degree in Fire Science.

Prior to his employment with the Rockledge Fire Department, he volunteered with EMTs with the St. Lucie Fire Rescue Department.

“Firefighter Pallas will be a wonderful asset to the Rockledge Fire Department and they are very proud to have him as a member,” said Rockledge city officials.

The City of Rockledge Fire Department is an all hazard emergency response organization, providing ALS non-transport EMS service, Fire and Haz-Mat response. The City is comprised of three response districts with a fire station strategically located within each district.

The average response time to any incident after the assigned unit is placed in service is approximately three to four minutes depending on the location of the call.

There are currently 41 employees in the department, 3 of which are in administration, 1 Department of Public Safety Fire Inspector/police officer, with the remaining employees assigned to three shifts.
