WATCH: Florida State Seminoles Upset Miami Hurricanes 31-28 in Another Rivalry Classic

(24/7 SPORTS) – Florida State upset Miami, 31-28, at Doak S. Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee, Florida on Saturday.

The Seminoles took the lead with 26 seconds remaining when quarterback Jordan Travis scored from two yards out. Travis then kept it for a two-point conversion to put the Seminoles up by the final margin.

The Seminoles (4-6, 3-4 ACC) shot out to a 17-0 lead early in the second quarter. They led 20-7 at the half. Early in the second half, it was all Miami (5-5, 3-3 ACC) as the Hurricanes scored on three consecutive drives to take a 28-20 lead with 11:04 remaining in the game.

FSU would close the gap to 28-23 on a 29-yard field goal by kicker Ryan Fitzgerald with 4:43 remaining.

Fireworks exploded and the 70,000 in attendance went wild. With the victory, the Seminoles snap a four-game losing streak to their in-state rivals.
