WATCH: Sharing Center of Central Brevard, Community Leaders Host Thanksgiving Lunch for Those in Need

THANKSGIVING DAY SPOTLIGHT

WATCH: The Sharing Center of Central Brevard, located at 113 Aurora Street in Cocoa, held Thanksgiving lunch for those in need and local community leaders and elected officials were on hand to assist the effort. Pat Johnson from the Sharing Center talked with the Friday Night Locker Room’s Steve Wilson about the importance of giving back to the community in this very special Thanksgiving Day report.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – The Sharing Center of Central Brevard, located at 113 Aurora Street in Cocoa, held Thanksgiving lunch for those in need and local community leaders and elected officials were on hand to assist the effort.

Among those assisting the Sharing Center of Central Brevard, were Port Commissioner Robyn Hattaway, Brevard County Commissioner Kristine Zonka, Cocoa Councilman Alex Goins and LEAD Brevard President/CEO Kristin Bakke.

Pat Johnson from the Sharing Center talked with the Friday Night Locker Room’s Steve Wilson about the importance of giving back to the community in this very special Thanksgiving Day report.

During the Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter holidays, the Center provides healthy meals, along with toys for needy children.

Working with local property owners and partner agencies, the Sharing Center is able to connect homeless families with safe, decent places to live. Through these services, South Brevard Sharing Center served thousands of Brevard’s neediest citizens.
