Sea Park put on a beautiful school-wide Veteran's Day program

ABOVE VIDEO: Schools across Brevard celebrated Veteran’s Day in a variety of ways this week. Students at Sea Park Elementary School enjoyed speaking with Veterans about their experience serving our country during Take a Vet to School Day.

BREVARD COUNTY • SATELLITE BEACH, FLORIDA – Schools across Brevard celebrated Veteran’s Day in a variety of ways last week. Students at Sea Park Elementary School enjoyed speaking with Veterans about their experience serving our country during Take a Vet to School Day.

Additionally, Sea Park put on a beautiful school-wide Veteran’s Day program with the help of Satellite High School’s ROTC program and the VFW of Satellite Beach.

The program included choral performances, poetry readings, tributes and more.

One of the participating Veterans shared, “What a great program! You have been a true role model for teachers and programs to honor Veterans! We always enjoyed participating and answering questions in the classrooms. And then there was the picture of Dad at the end that brought proud tears to our eyes! He so enjoyed participating with you at Sea Park! Thanks to all of you for honoring him!”
