BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – On Sunday morning and afternoon our team members partnered with the Viera Walmart to hold this year’s ‘Shop With A Cop’ event that helps to make certain that every kid in our community has an amazing Christmas.

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office ‘Shop With A Cop’ event helps provide a great Christmas for over 300 kids who otherwise would not have a gift to open on Christmas morning.

During the ‘Shop With A Cop’ event each child is paired with a Deputy Sheriff who walks with them through the store to help them pick out the various items on their Christmas Wish List.

The event not only helps others to have an incredible Christmas but also works to build positive relationships between our agency and community.

Our Deputies and many other members of our agency each volunteer their time to help with the event that is funded by our Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Charity through the generosity of various businesses and community support.

I can’t thank our members and community enough for their incredible support of this event. I also want to extend a special “thank you” to our great partners at the Viera Walmart who work so closely with us to make this event possible.
