COLLEGE FOOTBALL: Uniforms Revealed for 122nd Rivalry Clash Between Army and Navy Dec. 11

Arguably the biggest tradition of every college football season

(CBSSPORTS.COM) – Arguably the biggest tradition of every college football season is the Army vs. Navy game, which is coming up at 3 p.m. on Dec. 11 on CBS.

The Army-Navy game features custom uniforms designed specifically for each annual contest and they’re usually two of the best alternate uniforms of the entire season.

Both teams have released what the alternate uniforms are going to look like for the 2021 contest, so let’s have a look.

Navy is choosing to honor the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet fighter jet with its uniforms for the 122nd meeting.

“Using one of the most famous naval career paths as an inspiration, the 2021 ‘Fly Navy’ uniform highlights classic American symbolism and the most utilized multirole fighter jet in aircraft carrier aviation, the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet … the Super Hornet will remain the backbone of the carrier air wing well into the future,” Navy’s website says.
