COVID-19 Monoclonal Antibody Treatment Site Open for Service at Rockledge City Center

BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – A COVID-19 Monoclonal Antibody Treatment site is now open for operations 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Rockledge City Center, 920 Barton Blvd., Rockledge.
The Rockledge City Center is located at the intersection of Barton and Fiske boulevards. Monoclonal treatments are available under event tents in the southwest corner of the Rockledge City Center parking lot.
The site replaces a monoclonal treatment and COVID-19 testing site formerly located at Kiwanis Island Park on Merritt Island. It closed operations on Wednesday.
Hours of operation for the Rockledge City Center site are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week. Testing is not currently available at this site, but plans are to include COVID-19 testing at a later date to be determined.
Monoclonal therapy is for patients diagnosed with COVID-19 or considered high risk if infected and weight at least 88 pounds or more.
Appointments for monoclonal therapy can be made at www.patientportalfl.com and walk-ups are still being accepted. Treatments are available at no cost to patients, though insurance information will be requested.
Monoclonal antibodies help the immune system recognize and respond effectively to the virus. According to treatment guidelines, they should be administered as soon as possible after diagnosis.
